REPORT ENVIRONMENTAL INCIDENTS ON ST. CROIX

S.E.A. has been advocating on behalf of the people of St. Croix for better air quality and a cleaner environment for our island. A request from the community was how to report an infraction, a smell or strong odor, a flare or smoke, a ocean spill, or pollution.

Please click through to Pollution Accountability at Limetree page for a fact sheet and details about this current advocacy issue.

If you need to report an incident, visit How To Report a St. Croix Refinery Incident page.

St. Croix Environmental Association (SEA), the Center for Biological Diversity, and Sierra Club, in collaboration with Natural Resources Defense Council, Vermont Law School’s Environmental Justice Clinic and The Neville Law Firm LLC, filed a legal appeal on February 3, 2021 against the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) challenging the high pollution levels allowed for the Limetree Bay refinery operations and requesting better considerations for environmental justice on St. Croix, U.S. Virgin Islands. We want EPA’s Environmental Appeals Board to review Limetree Bay’s Plantwide Applicability Limit (PAL) permit.
