Join thousands of others worldwide to clean up and quantify coastal trash. SEA will provide trash bags, gloves, tally sheets, and drinking water (please bring a reusable bottle). After the clean-up, come and cool off at the snorkel clinic! Students can receive community service hours. Coastweeks is coordinated in the Virgin Islands by the VI Marine Advisory Service.
From the tops of the trees to the leaf litter debris and along the beach, discover the various types of reptiles that inhabit our island! Jen Valiulis, SEA’s Environmental Educator will be our guide. The ramble is appropriate for children and adults, ages 5 and over. Bring sunscreen, water and comfortable shoes that you will not mind getting a little muddy or sandy. This activity is free to members and children; $10 for nonmembers. Please register by calling (340) 773-1989. You are welcome to bring your beach gear and enjoy the cool Caribbean Sea following the Ramble.

8:00 am – 10:00 am. Join SEA to clean up the beach at Southgate Coastal Reserve before turtle nesting season. Nesting turtles and hatchling turtles can often get hung up in trash on the beach or worse, they mistake it for food when it washes into the water. This activity is open to all community members. Students earn Community Service hours for school requirements! Please bring drinking water and wear appropriate sun protection.
