This event is full – all of the remaining turtle watches are full for this season. Check back in April when we announce our dates for the 2018 season.
This is an opportunity to see hatchling sea turtles emerge from their nest and head out to the ocean. A guide will give you information about sea turtles and the important research and conservation that is being conducted at Sandy Point National Wildlife Refuge. For youth night, all adults must be accompanied by a young person under 18. Limit of four adults per young person. Hatchling watches begin at 5:15 p.m. and usually run until 7:00 or 8:00. This is a great activity for children and the whole family! You must be a SEA member to attend watches with SEA. Reservations are required.
