SEA offers a variety of free or low-cost activities to explore and better understand our island’s environment. Residents and visitors are welcome! SEA strives to provide knowledgeable guides for such activities as shore walks or hikes to better understand our native flora and fauna; visits to the endangered bird rehabilitation program; organic farm visits; star-gazing; and snorkeling trips, to name just a few. April 8, West is Best Bike Tour, 8:45am – Noon. VI Bike and Trails will guide us for this unique opportunity to tour the West End by bike. Along this easy three-hour tour, you will learn about and experience St. Croix’s history, nature preserves, wildlife and culture. Appropriate for ages 8-88. $50 for SEA members, $60 for non-members, $30 for kids with an accompanying adult. Cost includes bike rental, helmet, guided tour and water. Although a plastic water bottle can be provided, please help us reduce our plastic trash footprint and bring a reusable bottle to fill up. Space is limited so registration is required.
