SEA offers a variety of free or low-cost activities to explore and better understand our island’s environment. Residents and visitors are welcome! SEA strives to provide knowledgeable guides for such activities as shore walks or hikes to better understand our native flora and fauna; visits to the endangered bird rehabilitation program; organic farm visits; star-gazing; and snorkeling trips, to name just a few. January 14 & 28. 9:00 -11:00am – Toni Lance, Certified Falconer and Bird Rehabilitation Expert, will introduce you to the current residents of the Sanctuary including a pair of red-tailed hawks, peregrine falcon and American kestrels. This activity is not suitable for children under 6 years of age. There is no charge but your donations to help feed and house the birds are welcome. Registration is required and limited to 25 people.
