SEA offers a variety of free or low-cost activities to explore and better understand our island’s environment. Residents and visitors are welcome! SEA strives to provide knowledgeable guides for such activities as shore walks or hikes to better understand our native flora and fauna; visits to the endangered bird rehabilitation program; organic farm visits; star-gazing; and snorkeling trips, to name just a few. If you would like to know more about SEA activities, volunteer as a guide or make suggestions, just email or call SEA at 340-773-1989.
Reptile Ramble at Southgate Coastal Reserve – From the tops of the trees to the leaf litter debris and along the beach, discover the various types of reptiles that inhabit our island! Bring sunscreen, water and comfortable shoes that you will not mind getting a little muddy or sandy. This activity is free to members and children; $10 for nonmembers. Please register by calling (340) 773-1989. You are welcome to bring your beach gear and enjoy the cool Caribbean Sea following the Ramble.
