SEA offers a variety of free or low-cost activities to explore and better understand our island’s environment. Residents and visitors are welcome! SEA strives to provide knowledgeable guides for such activities as shore walks or hikes to better understand our native flora and fauna; visits to the endangered bird rehabilitation program; organic farm visits; star-gazing; and snorkeling trips, to name just a few. If you would like to know more about SEA activities, volunteer as a guide or make suggestions, just email or call SEA at 340-773-1989.
SEA staffers Carol Burke and Jen Valiulis will be your guides and will share information about mangrove and marine ecology as well as the bird life of this rich ecosystem. Clothing is apt to get wet so dress appropriately. Participants must be at least 10 years old. Space is limited so please register early, $10/person for members and kids 10-18, $15 for non-members. Call (340) 773-1989 for details and to reserve a spot. Thanks to Laurie and Wiz at Anchor Dive for supporting this activity!
